Our Vision

Today’s international students.
Tomorrow’s leaders.

Our goal is to provide international students with a mentorship program and a variety of community engagement activities that can guide them through each step of high school, university, and beyond.

There are currently about 640,000 international students studying in Canada today, and these students are no stranger to adversity. If you don’t think moving to an entirely new country is enough of a challenge, international students also face a language barrier, cultural shock, course planning and selection, complicated online university application system, unclear and complex visa processes, rising and sometimes completely unpredictable tuition rates.

Nevertheless, International students are extremely important to Canada’s society and economy. They help to create a vibrant learning environment on campuses across the country. They also contribute some $22 billion to the economy each year which supports around 200,000 Canadian jobs.

The Government of Canada needs to ensure that all international students are empowered to succeed in Canada, by allowing knowledgeable campus staff to provide advice on the transition from high school to university, by lifting restrictions on work, and by making it easier for international students to gain permanent residency after graduation.
